By interpreting some characteristics of the development of museums at the beginning of the 21 st centurT while taking some characteristic museum projects as examples.The article reveals the lastest trend in the development of modem museums, from the perspectives such as combining the new with the old, returning back to the prototype of museums, transparency, spectacularisation, multi-function, new symbolism, new body reference and so on.
