摘要
基于改进的SPIHT算法,提出了一种基于人眼视觉特性的图像编码算法.该算法按照人眼对图像边缘区、平滑区、纹理区敏感程度的不同,赋予这3种区域内图像信息对应的小波系数不同的视觉权值.实验结果表明:该算法有较好的重构图像主观质量和较高的峰值信噪比(PSNR).
An image coding algorithm based on human visual system is proposed.SPIHT algorithm is analyzed and improved in this paper.Unlike SPIHT,human visual system is taken into account sufficiently in the compression algorithm.According to the different sensitivity of human visual system on edge,smooth region and texture of the image,we give different perceptual weights to the corresponding wavelet coefficient.The experiment results show the image compression scheme can improve the recovery image quality and peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR).
