Role of epidermal growth factor receptor in tumor radiotherapy

摘要 表皮生长因子受体(EGFR)是调节肿瘤细胞生长的重要因子之一,在肿瘤的恶性生物学行为中发挥重要作用,与肿瘤放疗抗拒密切相关。EGFR过表达的肿瘤放疗效果差,易复发,预后不良。EGFR已成为肿瘤靶向治疗的重要靶标,抗EGFR治疗具有肿瘤放疗增敏作用。 Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is one of important factors which are involved in the growth regulation of many malignant ceils. It plays an important role in malignant biological action of tumor cells. EGFR overexpression is associated with more aggressive tumors, resistance to ionizing radiation,easy recurrence and poor prognosis. EGFR targeted therapy will be of benefits to the patients with EGFR overexpression and improve tumor radiosensitivity.
