摘要 卡内基高等学校分类法是美国最有影响力、最有代表性的高等学校分类方法。自1973年公开发布以来,卡内基教学促进基金会分别于1976年、1987年、1994年、2000年和2005年对其高等学校分类法进行了五次修订。与以往相比,2005年卡内基高等学校分类法作了重大调整,既包括与以往类似的基本分类,又包括新增的五种新的分类模式。 Carnegie Classification of Higher Education Institutions is the most influential and representative classifications in the United States. Derived from empirical data on colleges and universities, the“Carnegie Classification”was published for use by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education in 1973, and it was subsequently revised in 1976, 1987, 1994, 2000 and 2005. Different to the previous editions, the 2005 edition contains basic categories as well as new categories of higher education institutions.
