摘要
随着高校数字图书馆对存储量需求的迅速增加,网络存储得到了迅速普及,信息生命周期管理已经成为存储界的最新发展趋势。文章分析了三种主流存储系统DAS、NAS、SAN特点及网络存储系统的优势,信息生命周期管理的概念及信息生命周期不同阶段的信息处理策略,利用自动化网络存储实施信息生命周期管理的三个要素,并提出一个基于SAN的高校存储解决方案。
With rapidly increased requirement of storage capacity in academic digital libraries, network storage systems gained wide application. Information life cycle management has become up - to- date development trend. The paper analyses main storage systems - DAS, NAS, SAN and the advantages of network storage system. It also explains the concept of ILM, and information management taetics at different stages. ILM will be actualized through automation network storage system, including 3 elements. A SAN - based solution of data storage for an academic library is presented.
