摘要
美国作家埃德加.爱伦.坡以对死亡的刻画闻名,尤其是对“美女之死”这一主题的刻画。他关于这一题材的创作可以看作是他的生活经历与创作理论的结合,“美”与“死”在这些作品中得到了完美而和谐的统一。
American writer Edgar＂ Allan＂ Poe is famous for his depiction of death, especially for his theme of ＂death of beauty＂. His works of this theme can be seen as a combination of his living experience and literary theory. ＂Beauty＂ and ＂death＂ unite perfectly and harmoniously in these works.
