摘要
外交是国家之间的交往活动,外交语言作为外交工作的载体,有其不同于一般语言的独特之处,其显著特征就是讲究策略和礼貌。为此,外交家们常常运用外交委婉语来回答敏感性问题以及缓和交际气氛。文章简明而又系统地从语用学的视角对外交语言中的委婉现象进行了分析。
The diplomacy is the activity between countries＇contact,the diplomatic language is the carrier of the diplomatic work,and is different from the general language, its remarkable characteristic is for the strategy and politeness. Therefore, the diplomats frequently tend to use the diplomatic tactful language to reply the sensitive questions as well as to relax the communicative atmosphere. This article concisely and systematically analyze the diplomatic euphemisms from the view of pragmatics.
