The peasants in Tang Dynastry planted rice in many areas.The great gain of rice and joy was due to the industry of the peasants. But during the course of plantingrice, the peasants perhaps met the natural disasters,such as flood,drought,frostbite,andthe destruction of the pests. After gain,they must hand in the land tax and other levies. So they were in poor.Under the heavy exploitation and oppressing, they had to flee from hoom,break away from agriculture,defy and revolt.
