摘要
分析了逆向工程(RE)的几个关键技术,包括点云数据的获取、曲面重构和三维建模的方法步骤,逆向工程与其他CAD/CAM系统的数据交换,介绍了模具曲面逆向工程原理、方法及过程,并用实例验证了曲面逆向工程的应用。
Reverse engineering is an important tool for reconstructing CAD solid model from discrete data of components. It can also be very useful in shortening die development cycle, increasing products quality and establishing design-manufactttfing systems. In this paper, some key technologies in reverse engineering were analyzed, including the acquisition of point-cloud data, surface recon- struction and 3D modeling. Furthermore, the data switching between reverse engineering and other CAD/ CAM system, the principle, method and process of die surface reverse engineering were introduced. Then an example of application was presented.
