网络英语新闻的文体特点及在英语教学中的应用 被引量:2

Stylistic Features of Online English News and Its Application to English Teaching

摘要 因特网的日益普及使得网络英语新闻成为了一种新的新闻媒体。本文将网络英语新闻与传统报刊英语新闻进行比较,总结归纳出其在整体篇章结构及语言运用方面的特点,为英语学习者如何有效阅读网络英语新闻提供参考。同时针对英语教学中对网络英语新闻的使用提出了一些建议。 Online English news becomes "the fourth news medium", as the Internet is extensively spreading and the computer technology is developing quickly. A kind of new style emerges, which is different from the traditional printed news in many aspects. This paper attempts to find out its distinctive stylistic features such as the whole discourse structure and the use of language, including the weak points. Some reading skills of online English news, in accordance with its stylistic features, are provided for English learners. Besides, some suggestions are given on the use of online English news in English teaching.
