典型性研究及其对第二语言教学的启示

摘要 范畴的典型性依赖于具体的文化,文化背景不同的人对世界的划分是不同的,具有他们各自所经历的文化的特点。同时,语言是文化的载体和写照。因此,典型性与文化、语言密不可分,三者相依相辅。在第二语言教学中,典型性的这种特点,不但有助于提高二语学习者的语言文化意识,也有助于词汇与语法的习得。 Prototypicality results from categorization,which means members of one category have different cognitive positions and functions. Prototypicality is culture-specific; people from different cultural backgrounds categorize the same world in remarkably different ways. On the other hand ,as language is the reflection of culture as well as the carrier of culture,prototypicality has close connections with a specified language and culture, which consequently gives some insights into second language teaching.
