6 cases of ankylosing spondylitis(AS)were reported.The X-yar manifes tations of AS were analysed,especially the involvement of sacroiliac joints.spine、peripheral joints.The differential diagnosis between AS and rheumatoid arthritis was discussed in view of the existing diagnostic confuxions.
