The article analyzes the importance of documents of Mongolian laws in studying Mongolian history, recounts the course of formation and development of Mongolian laws and law body, and clarifies the editions, nature, contents, characteristics and effectiveness of Mongolian law, Mongolia -oirad code, code of Qalq - a jirum.
