摘要
用OM、SEM及能谱仪对辊套表面裂纹和试件断口形貌进行了观察,并采用X-ray衍射仪对裂纹中铝的化合物进行了分析。结果表明,辊套表面裂纹起源于机械加工产生的微缺陷,表面裂纹方向与切削痕迹方向相同;而铝液是从表面裂纹形核处沿开裂面挤入裂缝中;在裂纹尖端没有发现铁铝化合物;高温铝液对辊套表面裂纹形成及扩展影响不大。
The fractography of the cracked section in the roll sleeve was obtained by OM and SEM with EDS mapping,and the properties of the aluminum compound in the crack were analyzed by XRD. The results show that the tiny defects generated during machining are the main reasons for cracks initiation on the surface of the casting roll sleeve ,and the directions of surface cracks and machining traces are the same. The molten aluminum embedded along cracked section has also been found on the location of nucleation site of surface crack. However,iron-aluminum compounds haven't been detected at the crack tip, and the hot liquid aluminum has less effect on initiation and propagation of the existing surface cracks.
