摘要
本文介绍一个新型的智能型网上英语陪练系统——希赛可（CSIEC）。在分析理论和实际需求的前提下，描述了本系统的理论基础和系统构架，介绍了它在英语教学上的独特创新功能——自由对话、语法分析、听力训练等，并指出了需要完善和改进的地方。
In this paper we introduce an intelligent web-based English tutoring system, CSIEC. After short summarization of related researches and analysis of the theoretical and practical significance we present its theory foundation and system framework in details. Then we explain its innovative functions for English instruction such as free chatting, grammatical analysis and aural exercise.
