摘要
茨威格曾经说过:永远也不写一句赞美战争或贬低别的民族的话,在任何一部作品中做到公正和不抱偏见。但是在他的作品中却有不少内容都与他所倡导的人道主义精神相违背。通过对茨威格的作品和个人成长经历进行的分析,揭示了茨威格作品中的人道主义瑕疵产生的原因,从而对茨威格及其作品有一个全面深入的认识。
Ciweige once pledged to strive for fairness and renounce prejudice in his works by rejecting words praising any war or despising any nation. Neverthelese, thanks to the deep-rooted mentality of European Centralism and the Superiority Complex of the White men, in many parts of his works, he contradicted the humantarianism advocated by himself. In this paper,the analysis of Ciweige＇s works and the reasons of his suicide will be unrolled from a new perspective so as to foster a comprehensive understanding of the blemishes of his humantarianism and the ground of their generation.
