The proximity switches are widely used in industrial automation control since they have features of without mechanical wearing, without sparks and without noise, and quick in frequency response, high in repeated accuracy. Introduction to proximity switch＇s applicable range and field was made; description of proximity switch＇s principle and function was made; relevant technical parameters and typical circuit were given.
