摘要
文章以丰富的第一手资料为依据，深刻地揭示唐山抗震精神产生的根源，提出中华民族的传统文化是抗震精神的直接思想来源，近代工业革命锤炼的唐山人是抗震精神的主体，伟大的抗震减灾斗争是抗震精神的实践基础。以此为基础，阐述了唐山抗震精神在抗震减灾中的作用及历史意义。
The paper, based on the wealth of firsthand data, deeply delineates the motive for cultivation ofthe Tangshan earthquake-resistant spirit, and raises that: the tranditional culture of the Chinese nation is the direct idealogical sourcel the Tangshan people, tempered by the recent industrial revolution, is the main part of earthquake-resistant spirit; the great struggle of earthquake-resistance anddisaster reduction is the practical foundation of the earthquake-resistant spirit. Based on the above,the paper expounds the function and historical significane of Tangshan earthquake-resistant spirit inearthquake resistance and disaster reduction.
