摘要
手机是人们现代日常生活中的基本通讯联络手段之一。用手机网络信号可以来监测天气状况。手机微波通讯专家和气象专家的联合研究发现:数字频段通讯微波返回信号的衰减强烈地受近地面雨滴的大小和分布的影响,数字频段通讯微波返回信号的衰减可获得地面降水的高空间分辨率即时监测资料。研究表明:利用通讯信号衰减测得的降雨值与传统雨量筒的观测值非常接近,精确度要明显高于雷达观测的结果;并且可以大大弥补传统雨量筒监测的布设站点数量少、空间分辨率低的不足。对强降雨和洪涝的高空间分辨率实时监测,具有重要意义。现在科学工作者已研制出了用手机网络信号监测降雨的专利产品。深信用手机网络信号监测降雨是人类对降水观测的又一次重大技术进步,必将对高空间分辨率的精细降雨预报产生推动作用。
Mobile communication is a basic approach in people's ordinary life in our modern society. The existing mobile communication network can be used into measurements for meteorological monitoring. It is shown by the researches carried out by telecommunication specialists and meteorologists that attenuation of digital fixed radio systems depends on the size and distribution of the near- surface rainfall droplets. That attenuation of backhaul links of the network could be used to induce the surface precipitation with high spatial resolution. The surface precipitation induced from impairments of the network is much closet to the data from rain gauges, than that from weather radar- based estimates. The surface precipitation monitoring by mobile network is provided a high complementation to existing rain gauge monitoring system, which is insufficient in spatial resolution due to limitation on the number of sites and installations of rain gauges. In particular, the mobile network can provide a significant built - in facility in real - time monitoring on heavy rain and flood. Nowadays, some patent products of the mobile network weather monitoring have been developed by the scientists in Tel - Aviv University, Israel. It is believed that precipitation monitoring by mobile network is an important progress during the human's weather observing history, which will facilitate the high- solution, intensive weather forecast in forthcoming days.
