摘要
对于视频处理而言,预测编码涉及到运动估计和运动补偿。本文通过事先排除inter4v模式提高PMVFAST算法[1]运动估计效率,主要思想是采用了条件概率下随机变量SAD[2]所具有的统计特性。文中给出了一些相关实验结果并将其与传统方法所得数据进行了比较。结果表明,优化后算法的时间节省突出且PSNR无可觉察变化。
With regard to video signal processing, the method of predictive encoding involves motion estimation and compensation. This article shows that we can increase the efficiency of motion estimation in the Predictive Motion Vector Field Adaptive Search Technique algorithm by precluding the inter4v mode in advance. Its main contribution is to adopt the special statistics characteristics of the random variable SAD under the conditional probability. Some related experimental results are given and compared with traditional methods. Results show that the optimization algorithm saves lots of time and almost does not change PSNR.
