摘要
提出了一种基于在整像素搜索结果±1个像素领域内SAD误差值随着搜索点与最优点距离的增加而单调递增这个结论的两步快速半像素搜索算法。仿真结果显示该算法可以在保持视频质量的同时明显地降低运算量。
A fast two-step search algorithm for half-pixel motion estimation is proposed based on the fact that the SAD distortion function ncreases monotonously as thc search location moves away from the sub-pixel minimum within ± 1 pixel neighborhood of thc result of nteger-pixel search, Expcsimental results show that significant reduction in computation is achieved by using the propose method, without visiblc oss in video fidelity.
