摘要
2005年10月18日至20日，由中国社会科学院考古研究所、河南省偃师市人民政府主办的“中国·二里头遗址与二里头文化国际学术研讨会”在河南偃师市召开。来自祖国大陆、香港、台湾和日本、韩国、美国等国家的70余位专家学者参加了会议。代表们来自不同的研究领域，有着广泛的学术背景，包括考古学、历史学、历史地理学、人类学、古文字学、艺术史、测年科学、环境科学、冶金史、植物考古等学科和研究领域。
On 18^th to 20^th October, 2005, the ＂International Symposium of the Erlitou Site and the Erlitou Culture·China＂ was held in Yanshi City, Henan Province. More than 70 experts and scholars from various areas of the world attended the conference. The subjects involved the date, connotation and nature of the Erlitou culture and the Erlitou site and their relationship with other cultures, the value of the recent archaeological discoveries from the Erlitou and other important sites of the culture, interregional exchanges and cultural situation during the formation of the early dynasty and state, and the relationship of the Erlitou site and the Erlitou culture with the Xia and Shang cultures. The meeting adopted the Opinions of the Specialists Attending the International Symposium of the Erlitou Site and the Erlitou Culture·China.
