摘要
禁忌语并不意味着禁而不用,禁忌语有着它独特的作用与吸引力。本文运用海姆斯的言语活动理论分析了电影《泰坦尼克号》中的禁忌语,阐述了交际情景因素如何制约人们对禁忌语的使用或规避。
Verbal taboo does not mean a total ban of use of taboo words. Taboo words have their unique function and appealing power. This paper analyzes the taboo words in the film Titanic, and demonstrates how the communication context guides the use or the avoidance of taboo words.
