摘要
激光显示技术,是以激光作为光源的图像信息终端显示技术。与现有的显示技术相比,具有色域覆盖率大(2倍以上)、色饱和度高(10倍以上)和易实现高分辨大屏幕显示等特点。本文介绍了激光显示研究的历史和国内外的发展现状,介绍了中国科学院多年来的相关研究成果。从激光特性出发,结合当前数字显示技术,讨论了激光显示的优势,分析了技术发展前景,展示了激光显示这种新一代显示技术的广阔市场潜力。
Laser displays offer a number advantages over traditional light sources, such as extended color gamut, greater colors saturation, higher color ratio and high-resolution images over large screen sizes. In the paper, the history, present situation of laser displays and the research achievement on the laser displays at Chinese Academy of Sciences are introduced. The prospect of technological development and a promising market on the laser displays are discussed.
