摘要
在《欲望号街车》这部当代精神悲剧中,威廉斯运用“诗化现实主义”的创作手法,深刻地揭示了现代社会中人在精神上的困境。文章从人物自身的冲突和主要人物之间的冲突这两方面着手,展现被世上的各种矛盾法则弄得进退两难,苦苦挣扎的现代人的精神困惑与生存困境,揭示出人类灵魂所遭受的独特折磨和痛苦挣扎。
In this tragical play what is A Streetcar Named Desire, Williamd explored the conflicting minds of the modern people by using his ＂poetic naturalism＂. The thesis makes a study on the conflicting themes between characters themselves and interpersonal conflicts, shows their dilemma because of these contradiction rule, and thus analyzes the eternal struggle between opposites the tension in which man lives and the soul tortures.
