摘要
该文阐述了WebGIS的实现途径和应用模式,同时针对基于JavaApplet的WebGIS实现中的关键技术进行了研究和探讨,包括利用数据库存储和管理空间数据,通过OpenGIS提供的JDBC接口访问数据库提供数据服务。充分利用Java的多线程工作方式,提高了WebGIS的响应速度,在提高其性能的同时也增加了灵活性。
This paper discusses the implement ways and application mode of WebGIS and also studies the key technology of system implement of WebGIS based on JavaApplet. It includes the use of databases to store and manage spatial data and accessing data services through JDBC adapter provided by OpenGIS. It takes full advantage of the multithreading Java work, and improves the response speed of WebGIS and also increases flexibility.
