On the Disputes and Adoption of Ideas of Han Studies and Song Studies Under the Reign of Jiaqing and Daoguang of Qing Dynasty

摘要 在中国学术、思想史上,汉、宋两学关系问题是一重要问题,到清代嘉庆、道光之时尤为引人注目。围绕这一问题,时人聚讼纷纭,其中以江藩、方东树在各自著作中所表达的针锋相对的理念及其所引发的学术风波最具影响力。这固然标志着所谓“汉宋之争”已达高潮,同时它也说明这一时期学术格局有所变化,即汉学虽仍居主导,但宋学的空间已越来越大。宋学空间的得以扩大,与当时学界存在的汉宋调和、汉宋兼采之风密不可分,汉学家与宋学家之间既相互贬抑,又彼此调和,兼采对方之长为己所用。这一切,预示着学术嬗变的契机已显现,学术演进将有新趋势。 The relation between Han studies and Song studies has always been an important issue in the Chinese academic and ideological history, particularly under the reign of Jiaqing and Daoguang of Qing Dynasty. Among those disputes, the conflicting ideas expressed in works written by JIANG Fan and FANG Dong- shu are most influential, which indicate the climax of so called "Disputes between Han studies and Song studies", at the same time, it shows the academic structure has changed, that is to say, although Han studies takes the leading place, the space of Song studies is enlarged. The reason for this enlargement lies in the reconciliation and adoption between the two schools. They belittle each other, compromise and learn from each other. All these show that the academic transformation occurs and the academic evolution has a new tendency.
