Anew water heating method has helped cut costs by 20 per cent at GlaxoSmithKline （GSK）＇s factory at Barnard ,Castle in the UK as part of the pharmaceutical company＇s campaign to reduce energy consumption. GSK manufactures tablets, creams, ointments and sterile liquids for injection at the 25 hectare site.
