摘要
杨振声是国立青岛大学的惟一一任校长,也是国立山东大学的奠基人。作为我国现代著名教育家,杨振声打破门户广揽名家的办学方针,严格整肃不由任便的治校原则,撙节支出添增图书、实验设施的经营政策,为青岛大学的历史涂上了一笔重彩,创造了青岛高等教育发展的不凡业绩。杨振声清正廉洁、平等待人、长于肆应的人格魅力,折射出大学校长的伟岸风范。
Yang Zhensheng was the founder and president of the former state-run Qingdao University. As a well-known modern educationalist in China, Yang made great contribution to Qingdao University by recruiting the able widely, strict principles of running the university and his great efforts to enrich the library and experimental equipments. He brought about a great advance in higher education of Qingdao. Yang Zhensheng＇s incorruptibility, equality and his capability reflected his character as a great scholar and university president.
