摘要
语篇脉络理论是考察宏观语篇衔接和连贯的模型,为宏观语篇处理提供了新的研究视角。本文着重对脉络理论进行全面考察,探讨脉络理论的理论基础、理论框架及其理论应用。脉络理论吸收了堆栈模型理论和修辞结构理论的一些思想,形成了自己的理论框架。它包括一系列计算语篇单元领首标记和脉络标记的规则,通过计算,可以得到语篇的脉络结构。另外,脉络理论还提出了两个推论。脉络理论应用广泛,本文重点介绍了如何把脉络理论应用于计算机自动文摘。通过脉络理论,可以得到整个语篇、部分语篇或特定单元的摘要。脉络理论为自动文摘提供了新的研究思路。脉络理论也存在弊端,尚需进一步完善。
The veins theory, which is a model of global discourse cohesion and coherence, provides a new approach to global discourse processing. Drawing on a stack-based model of discourse structure and the Rhetorical Structure Theory, the veins theory develops its own framework, postulating rules for computing heads and vein expressions of the discourse unit, through which a vein structure of discourse can be obtained. Furthermore, the veins theory puts forward two conjectures which are introduced with examples in this paper. As the veins theory has a wide application in discourse processing, this paper only focuses on the application in automatic summarization and suggestions for improvement of the theory.
