Introduces the falling film evaporator used in the air-conditioning and refrigeration fields. The flow patterns of the refrigerants flow outside the horizontal plain tubes should been considered when analyzes and designs the horizontal tube falling film evaporators. Presents the key factors that have effects on the flow patterns of the refrigerants outside the horizontal plain tubes.
