The structure, features, working principle, and repair technology etc. of hydraulic redial-fit bolts manufactured by PIGRIM company in USA and used on couplings have been presented in detail. Compared with conventional coupling bolts, the hydraulic radial-fit bolts can effectively prevent unsmooth stagnation. Application of hydraulic radial-fit bolts onto couplings can shorten repair time duration, enhancing repair quality of the units.
