摘要
美国是一个拥有良好社会制度而备受推崇的国家，可许多美国人也许难以选出本国前十大体验，更不要说最棒的体验了。一些人会立即点名联邦政府的三大分支及其检查、平衡体系；另一些人可能会道出公立图书馆和学校，纵观历史，这里曾为教育添砖加瓦，并让享受其中的人们过上优越的生活；还有许多人会说，美国有一个传统，那就是欢迎初来乍到者到海滨嬉戏，因此Walt Whitman曾盛赞美国为“国中之国”。
