摘要
本文联系18世纪的社会文化背景,探讨18世纪西方家具所受到的中国古典家具的影响,这种影响主要表现在三个方面:从中国引进新材料并向中国学习新技术;模仿借鉴中式古典家具的形式美法则;引进中国装饰技法和装饰图案。总之,18世纪西方家具吸纳、融和及改造中式古典家具,带有浓厚的中国文化特色,充分表现出兼容不同文化的多元风格。
In 18^th century, western furniture was influenced by classical Chinese furniture in such three aspects： fetching in new material and learning new techniques, imitating the principles of form aesthetics, and fetching decorale techniques and patterns all from China. In a word, western furniture in 18^th century absorbed, blended and reconstructed classical Chinese furniture embodying a style of blending Chinese culture.
