摘要
研制了一种基于F-P腔滤波器的波长可调谐光分插复用器(OADM),它由四个光纤准直器、一个腔距可调的F-P腔和一个压电陶瓷微位移器(PZT)组成,F-P腔与PZT配合形成一个可调谐光滤波器.对光分插复用器进行了实验研究,并对该器件的串扰特性进行了详细的分析与计算,提出了减小串扰的改进方案.实验中得到的上/下载信道隔离度大于33 dB,与理论计算结果相符.这种新型OADM具有结构简单、可调谐范围大、隔离度高、成本低等特点,可广泛应用于各种WDM光网络.
A reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (OADM) based on Fabry-Perot (F-P) cavity optical filter was proposed. The OADM consists of four collimators, a tunable F-P cavity, and a piezoelectric translator (PZT). In the structure, the F-P cavity and PZT act as a tunable optical filter. The characteristic of the OADM was studied experimentally, and especially the crosstalk is analyzed and calculated in detail. In the experiment, the channel isolation was more than 33 dB, which was consistent with the result of theoretical calculation. The OADM has many advantages such as simple structure, wide tunable range, high isolation, low cost and so on. It can be widely used in practical WDM system.
