Signal sources are often necessary parts for many electronic devices. It is the most economic way to generate signals for single chip computers to use their own on-chip D/A converters. C8051F020 is one latest powerful single chip computer product of Cygnal Company with internal D/A. This article introduces using looking up sine table and D/A converting method to generate sine waveform signal. It describes the circuits and programs for generating sine waveform signal for C8051F020 in detail. Square waveform, triangle waveform and arbitrary waveform may be obtained by modifying the look-up table.
