Rain Attenuation Compensation of Ka Band Multi-Beam Satellite Communication Through Optimized Power Control

摘要 降雨衰减是影响Ka波段卫星通信系统传输质量及系统性能的主要因素之一。为了保证卫星通信链路的传输质量,根据我国的降雨统计数据,计算得到了Ka波段降雨衰减的等值分布图,并采用功率优化法对多波束天线系统的转发器功率进行优化分配,以补偿降雨衰减的影响。研究结果表明,该方法在减小降雨衰减对通信传输质量的影响方面具有较好的效果。 Rain attenuation is a main factor that affects the communication capability and the quality of transmission in Ka band satellite communication. In order to keep the transmission quality of satellite communication, and based on the analysis of rain data of China, picture of rain attenuation contours can be calculated. In order to compensate the effect of rain attenuation, we adopts optimized power control to distribute the power of transmitter of multi-beam antenna transmitter. The research results show that this method has better effect in reducing the influence of rain attenuation on the quality of system transmission.
