摘要
应用光学显微镜及扫描电镜对双壳纲贝壳韧带结构色的研究表明,韧带具有非常美丽的结构色,可以做为宝石材料或收藏品。韧带结构色可能是由定向排列的纳米级文石及蛋白质纤维构成的光珊衍射引起的。韧带结构色的发现为宝石的颜色成因及光子带隙材料等研究提供了新的思路。
The research of structural colors in ligament of bivalve shells by optic microscope and SEM t shows that there are brilliant structural colors in the ligaments which could be exploited as a new type of gem materials or collections. The structural colors of ligament were probably caused by grating diffraction from the nanometer oriented aragonite or protein fibers in ligament. The finding of structural color of ligament provides new insights on the studies about origin of gem colors and photonic band gap materials.
