摘要
就语言是心理现象而言,认知语言学家认为,语言能力是认知能力的一部分,语言的运用同人类的认知活动分不开,语言使用本身就是认知能力的体现。仿拟,以其新颖、独创的应用引起了引言心理学家、修辞学家、语言学家的关注,但是他们仅仅限于词汇、语用效果等层面的考察。很少有人从认知层面探究仿拟的意义构建和解读过程中人的认知能力所发挥的巨大作用。而福柯尼耶的心理空间理论的主旨是探究语言的意义建构过程。本文拟从空间理论的视角阐释英汉仿拟的认知意义构建过程。
Cognitive linguists believe that language competence is a part of cognitive ability, application of language is interwoven with human cognitive activities, and the application itself embodies cognitive ability. Although parody, or nonce word, owing to its novel and creative usage, has drawn the attention of psychologists, rhetoricians and linguists, few of them explore its meaning construction and the big influence human cognitive ability exerts in the course of understanding from the perspective of cognition. Fauconnier's Mental Spaces aims to examine the meaning construction process of language. Thus, the paper, taking Fauconnier's Mental Spaces as its theoretical base, interprets parody's meaning construction of cognition in English and Chinese from the view of Mental Spaces.
