摘要
美国国家科学基金会海洋分会发表的新千年海洋科学报告,对21世纪海洋科学可能出现的重要发现做出了预测,为未来研究提出了重要建议,确定了在了解海洋过程和海洋对地球和社会影响方面可以取得重大进步的领域。在对新千年的海洋科学深入研究的基础上,分析了海洋科学未来的挑战,提出了相关的建议和体会,为海洋工作者提供参考。
Ocean Sciences at the New Millennium reported by National Science Foundation＇s Division of Ocean Sciences forecasted potential key finds of ocean science made significant suggestions on future research, identified areas where significant progress can be made in understanding ocean processes and their impact on Earth and on society. Based on thorough study on Ocean Sciences at the New Millennium, this paper analyzes future challenge on ocean science, presents relevant advices and thoughts and supplies references to scientists.
