摘要
分析了基于小波变换的图像增强算法和传统的canny边缘检测算法,提出将两种方法有效地结合起来,应用于对比度低图像的边缘检测中．实验证明,该方法准确的检测图像中的目标边缘,且能较好地保持目标边缘的连通性．
This paper analyses image enhancement based on wavelet transformation and image edge detection based on Canny operator, then proposes a new technique by combining the two approaches above . The experiment results show that the proposed method provides clearer and smoother edges than that of using Canny algorithms alone.
