摘要
教材的规范性和创新性是英语专业精读课教材《现代大学英语》的突出特点。结合目前大学英语教学的发展以及专业英语教材编写的问题,本文对于该教材的编写原则、内容特点以及教学方法进行了深入的探讨。
The striking features of Contemporary College English--the textbook for English majors-- are its standardization and innovation. Based on the cun＇ent development of English teaching and the compiling of English textbooks, this paper makes a profound study on the compilation principles of the textbook, its content features and some teaching methods involved.
