摘要
现代社会在创造丰富的物质文明的同时也将个体符号化、商品化、同一化。都市人离弃了自己的精神家园，他们在孤独、苦闷、迷乱、无助中徘徊。《挪威的森林》(以下简称《挪》)以写实的手法展示了现实的昏暗苍凉，表现了都市人无奈的生活状态；同时以存在主义的方法意识，童话式的价值理念，现实与非现实并行的叙述方式试图拯救傍徨的都市人。然而，这更强化了都市人的无助与苦痛。
In the course of creating abundant cultural civilization, the, modern society symbolizes, commercializes and is identified with the individuals. The urban habitants desert their mental heaven. They waver in isolation confusion and helplessness. Norwegian Wood depicts the bleakness of the reality with realist situation of the urban habitants. At the same time it tries to save them with fairy tale values and the conception of existentialism. But it only strengthens the helplessness and pains of the urban population.
