新豇2号是在绿豇90品种中变异单株采用系统选育而成豇豆新品种。该品种表现早熟、叶片中等大小．叶肉厚。深绿色。以主蔓结荚为主，有侧蔓1～2个。一般第4～5节着生第一花序，以后各节均有花序。成荚率高，每花序结荚2～4荚。第4～10花序可同时开花，前期产量较高。嫩荚绿黄色。荚面平整，荚条长而直。荚长60～80cm。条荚匀称。单荚重30-40完。嫩荚肉质脆嫩．品质优。耐老化．商品性极佳。春播从播种到商品采摘期为56天。单产1800kg／667m^2以上。前期产量较高。该品种适宜西北地区种植。
