摘要
通过讨论英语名词词组的结构和语法功能以及限定词的界定和分类,提出并论证中位限定词是名词词组中不可或缺的观点,同时指出前位限定词和后位限定词与名词中心词虽有结构上的联系,但却是可有可无的。
By an analysis of the structure, grammatical functions of English noun phrases and a probe into the definition and classification of the determiner, this article makes a further approach to the absolute necessity of the central determiner in English noun phrases while the pre-determiner and post-determiner are optional.
