The effects of leisure life in cities have becoming more and more prominent in modern harmonious society and sports leisure is an important part of city＇s leisure life. From the five perspectives of human being＇s development, life style, social system, urban economy and city culture, this article discusses the roles that sports leisure play in city life and concludes that sports leisure will have a profound influence on city life.
