摘要
胡适的自由主义思想并没有远离中国的社会现实,因为,对于当时的中国社会来说,胡适所提倡的自由主义主张,正是那个社会所缺少的东西,自由对于每个人和每个国家来说都是重要的。只是,胡适所坚持的实现他的自由主义的方法和路径,却远离了中国的社会现实。今天的中国顾及胡适的自由主义思想,仍然能从中感悟到它的当代意义。
The liberalism of Hu-shi wasn＇ t far away from the social reality of China, because the liberalism insisted by Hu-shi was just the thing that was needed by the society at that time. The methods and routes which were used to realize the liberalism were far away from the social reality of China. We can, however, still notice the contemporary meaning of his thoughts now.
