摘要 以水作衬比剂,对湿地松(PinuseliotiEngelm)种子进行IDX法检验其生活力的研究,结果表明:湿地松种子在25℃水中浸24h后,置床培养48h,用吸水纸吸去表面水份,用硅胶干燥9h(30℃),其X射线片上死活种子图像差异显著。 IDX(I:imbibition,D:drying,X:ray radiograph) method (with water as contrast agent) has been used satisfactorily in 13 seed samples of slash pine(Pinus ellittii Engelm)with various vigor.The procedures suitable for slash pine are as follows:First seeds were soaked in water(25℃) for 24 hours, then put on germination mendium for 48 hours and after that were dried in drier with silaca gel(30℃,RH=50%)for 9 hours, finaly radiographs were taken and germination test was carried out on the same seeds.The images of seeds on the radiograph might be divided into 5 types as follows:Ⅰ.identical and low density and without seed structure;Ⅱ.identical and low density with cloudy seed structure;Ⅲ.high density with clear seed structure;Ⅳ.low density endosperm and high density embryo;Ⅴ.damaged and empty seed.Based on seed images and the results of their germination test,it was found that only Ⅰand Ⅱ seeds had viability. According to this standard the germinability estimated by IDXf method agreed quite well with the actual germination percentage.
