摘要
探讨了数字化环境下编目工作面临的变革,指出编目观念将从注重文献的物理形态转变到注重著作的内容以及著作之间的关系,最理想的编目主体应该是出版界,图书馆编目员的职责要由文献信息的初级整理、加工者转变为多种信息资源的开发和导航者。
This paper probes into the revolution faced by the cataloging work under the digitalized environment, and points out that the cataloging concept will be transformed from that of paying attention to the physical form of the literature into that of paying attention to the relation between the contents of the literature and the literature, the most ideal cataloging case should be the publisher, and the catalogers will not only he primary processors but also the developers and navigators of information resources.
