金庸在《神雕侠侣》中塑造了一个颇具“另类”和富有争议的侠的形象——杨过。他狡狭轻浮、任性偏激,“正中有邪”,“邪中有正”。然而他狡狭中透着机灵,偏激中夹着狂放,最终历经磨难成为一代大侠,而且以其人格魅力深受读者的喜爱。
In The Legend of Condor Hero, Jin Yong creates a hero Yang Guo, a rather alien and controversial chivalrous image---sly, frivolous, willful, extreme and both good and evil. However, there is smartness in his frivolity and unruliness in his extremity, and after having undergone trials and tribulations, Yang Guo grew to be a chivalrous swordsman and is deeply loved by the reading public for the charisma of his personality.
